Easy-To-Install Z-Wave Plus Thermostat

Add Z-Wave control to your HVAC system by replacing your traditional thermostat with the 2GIG Z-Wave 700 Programmable Thermostat. This programmable Z-Wave 700 thermostat allows you to command your heating and AC systems from the thermostat or through your smart device using a new or existing Z-Wave network.

Suitable for both new and retrofit applications, the 2GIG Z-Wave 700 Programmable Thermostat works with most modern HVAC systems (standard and heat pump). Compatible systems include:

• Standard Gas/Electric HVAC: 2-stage heating, 2-stage cooling
• Heat Pump HVAC: 3-stage heating, 2-stage cooling and Humidifier/Dehumidifier support

The thermostat can be powered by 24VAC through the connected HVAC system (if both “R” & “C” wires are available at the thermostat) or using four (4) AA batteries for up to two (2) years. DO not install batteries if the thermostat is powered by 24VAC. If the thermostat is battery powered it will not be able to repeat Z-Wave signals in your network.

Z-Wave 700 is an upgraded Z-Wave certification program to help you identify products that take advantage of the latest Z-Wave hardware platform, also known as 700 Series, Gen7 Z-Wave, or Z-Wave Plus v2. Z-Wave 700 compatible devices include extended wireless range up to 2600 ft/800 m, three layers of encryption, faster operation, and longer battery life.
