Wireless X10 Control of Your Home!

The RF Handheld Remote (PHR03), used with the PAT03 RF Base Transceiver (sold separately) expands your X10 Remote Control capability. Control your lights and appliances all around your house without leaving your sofa! Just plug-in the RF Base Transceiver (sold separately) into any nearby outlet, and you’ll have total wireless control of any electrical device connected to an X10 Receiver Module. The RF Handheld Remote Control operates as many as 16 devices (or groups of devices) and includes Dimming and Brightening buttons for use with X10 Dimmable Receiver Modules.

The Base Transceiver (sold separately) receives the Commands and instantly sends them along the home’s power lines. The system uses Radio Frequency (RF) Signals instead of Infrared (IR), so you won’t have to be in direct line-of-sight for proper operation. As long as the RF Handheld Remote is within 100 feet (ideal conditions) of the plug-in Base Transceiver, it will work like a charm! The RF Handheld Remote requires 4 AAA batteries, which are sold separately.

The X10 Palm Pad Controller is an X10 Wireless Transmitter

A basic wireless X10 system includes a Transmitter, a Transceiver and a Receiver – each sold separately. Wireless Transmitters are control devices that broadcast X10 radio frequency (RF) signals to Transceivers, which plugs into standard wall outlets. The Wireless Transceiver then converts the RF signal into an X10 signal and transmits it through your home’s electrical wiring to X10 Receivers. When an X10 Receiver receives a command, it responds by turning a light, appliance or other electrical device On or Off, and sometimes Dim or Bright.
